Despite fairly severe traffic delays driving from South London to the New Forest that afternoon which resulted in a chase against time and the fast disappearing light, this shoot was an amazing experience.
The make shift improvisation and rethink of lighting worked out beautifully despite my initial reservations and at times experimental camera settings.
It was a first for me setting off smoke grenades, a first photographing while getting a wet bum in a forest stream, and a first time rummaging thru a dense shurb-land after sunset to catch a shot with wild ponies. Modelled by Louisa, a creative mother of two, reiki healer and embodiment of the goddess. Styling help and last minute make-up by Nancy Rolllinson, who also assisted me together with location-scouting and light-shining Adeola Sheehy-Adekale.
